Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round fight which will be shown live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the two fighters confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming boxing match.
Former two time world heavyweight champion Joshua faces YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," the British boxer, 35 years old, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's greatest commercial attractions, consistently making huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the usual stare-down, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is really going ahead.
